Go with hero and henchmen. You alone determine if the scene gets skipped or not.

I would be more in favour of ANet removing the option to skip cutscenes.

If you've never completed a particular mission on one's account, you should not be allowed to skip. If you have beaten it at least once, then it should be possible to do so.

BTW, looking back through this topic brings back memories of posters who no longer post. Good time, good times...

If I haven't seen a cut scene before, I want a chance to see it, and I won't deny someone else the same right.
Also, some cut scenes are actually useful to not skip, as you do heal/regen through them, so you may have a reason to sit through them longer.

No for two reasons.
1. Why should the person who hasn't seen the cutscene suffer when the others can just log out and back in again?
2. You signed your own post as if we were to assume you'd be against this.

/not signed It's only a few minutes and if you have not seen it they are fun. Sometimes I make the heros watch them when we are out by ourselves.

There is already an auto skip option in the game right now.
You enter with a team that you know will skip them.
So no need for a change.

I know I wanted to see the story line my first time through. If you dont wanna see the cutscenes then sucks for u, go with ppl who will skip or henchies.
I do believe that the end of mission cutscene should send u to the next town immediately after you click skip so you can move on without having to watch the cutscene. If u wanna reparty up, they can reparty once they watched the cutscene. My $0.02

I always watch cutscenes first time through and felt guilty enough for it for holding up my guildies! By now, I've seen them all, but there are still NF and GWEN cutscenes that I wanna watch just because they are fun!
I mean come on, Palawa Joko trying to organize his army again? The Goren/Norgu cutscene after "All's Well that Ends Well"? Most of Pyre's lines? The end cutscene after Raisu Palace (just to see Togo finally die, I'm so tired of him!)? They all have an entertainement value!

Once upon a time, MM use to have a reason to want this.. Minions would die.. but that's been fixed..
Don't be selfish. Just because you might have seen it before, doesn't mean someone else has, or may not have seen it for a while.
If it means that much to you, play with NPCs or Guild who don't care either.

Just allow people to skip separately so the people that don't skip can be left behind. You don't need a full party of 8 to clear a lot of areas. Just another reason I play with heroes, they always skip cutscenes.
